At the tender age of eight, an HBO trailer sparked my passion for filmmaking, and I've been on this creative journey ever since. I've dedicated myself to the world of media, television, and film, honing my skills as a camera operator and Director of Photography. Cinematography is my true love—playing with light and capturing motion is like breathing for me.
My commitment to producing projects with soul and impact led me to establish Bent Street Films LLC. Inspired by the vibrant culture of my childhood neighborhood, my company aims to bring Guyanese, Caribbean, and other international stories to the mainstream, while also embracing diverse narratives within the US. I am passionate about preserving and developing culture through filmmaking, and this dedication drives my work every day.
I have extensive experience with all formats, from super 8mm film to solid-state systems for ARRI, RED, and Sony, in both independent and studio productions. Alongside my practical experience, I hold a Master’s in Fine Arts - Film from Ohio University.
Every time I bring an intangible idea to life on screen, it’s a moment of pure fulfillment and satisfaction. I look forward to the opportunity to collaborate and create impactful, meaningful films together.
